Focus on Consumption and Infrastructure Sectors, Efficient Market Development in Four Days On November 26th, the 2025 CHINA (INDONESIA) EXPORT BRAND JOINT EXPO grandly kicked off at the Jakarta International Expo Center. Co-hosted by the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province and organized by MIE Group, this expo has gained strong recognition and full support from nearly 30 authoritative local Indonesian business associations, including the Global Retail Association, Indonesian Electronic Goods Entrepreneurs Association, Indonesian Building Materials Entrepreneurs Association, Indonesian Furniture Designers Association, and Indonesian Events Industry Committee.
Following the successful “2025 Zhejiang International Trade (Mexico) Exhibition” held in June this year, this is another major exhibition of Chinese independent brands landing in Jakarta. With the theme of “Chinese Consumer Goods and Infrastructure”, the expo made its debut with a full-scale exhibition area of 40,000 square meters, attracting nearly 1,000 participating enterprises from China and Indonesia, including 67 enterprises organized by the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province. The four-day exhibition period not only provides sufficient negotiation time for both supply and demand sides but also significantly improves the efficiency of business matching, making it the largest and longest-running Chinese independent brand exhibition in Jakarta in 2025.
Industry + Consumer Goods: Establishment of the “Two Exhibitions a Year” New Pattern
Starting from 2025, the CHINA (INDONESIA) EXPORT BRAND JOINT EXPO has officially upgraded to the “Two Exhibitions a Year” model, forming an annual exhibition pattern focusing on industrial manufacturing in the first half of the year and consumer goods and infrastructure in the second half. Every June, the exhibition focuses on the industrial manufacturing field, hosting an industrial-themed joint expo centered on intelligent logistics, transportation and warehousing, power transmission and control technology, food processing equipment, printing and packaging equipment, machine tools and metal processing, new energy, plastic machinery and molds, fasteners and fastener processing equipment. In November, it shifts to the terminal consumer market, concentrating on displaying consumption and infrastructure categories such as textiles and garments, home appliances and 3C products, home furnishings and gifts, baby products and toys, building materials and soft furnishings, pet products, educational equipment, sports goods, and retail.
With a total annual exhibition area of 80,000 square meters, the two exhibitions have become one of the preferred platforms for Chinese enterprises to explore the Southeast Asian market. The “Two Exhibitions a Year” model not only better meets the changes in market demand at different times but also provides comprehensive display opportunities for Chinese enterprises, further promoting economic and trade cooperation between China and Indonesia.
Global Version of AI Glasses Applied to Indonesian Buyers for the First Time, Intelligent Matching Capability Widely Praised
At this Indonesia Joint Expo, MIE Group’s “AI Smart Expo” system and the Global Version (video version) of AI Glasses were fully implemented, creating a full-process intelligent exhibition experience around the four core links of “communication – identification – follow-up – conversion”. In particular, the Global Version of AI Video Glasses was applied to Indonesian buyers for the first time at this exhibition, marking a new breakthrough in the in-depth practice of Chinese AI technology in cross-border trade service scenarios.
The Global Version of AI Glasses (video version) integrates a variety of cutting-edge AI functions: supporting real-time multilingual mutual translation, intelligent business card recognition, AI meeting minutes generation, etc. After the exhibition, personalized emails can be automatically sent through the “AI Email Agent” on the PC terminal to efficiently complete customer follow-up and content confirmation. In addition, all docking data is synchronized to the “AI Smart Expo” cloud platform in real time, realizing seamless connection from on-site interaction to online management.
Many Indonesian buyers at the scene showed strong interest in this AI glasses independently developed by a Chinese enterprise and highly praised the innovative strength of Chinese AI technology. They especially affirmed the prominent value of MIE Group’s “AI Smart Expo” platform and AI Glasses in improving the efficiency of China-Indonesia trade communication, and also expressed expectations that more exhibitors will use the AI Smart Expo system to display their products in the future to select high-quality products more efficiently.
Regional Brands Going Global as a Group to Help High-Quality Development of Foreign Trade
At this Indonesia Joint Expo, the collective appearance of Chinese regional brands also became a major highlight of the exhibition. The expo, together with the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province, jointly promoted the “Quality Zhejiang Products” regional brand going global initiative. Through the exhibition platform, it realized the innovative service functions of combining product display with industrial display, and enterprise brands with industrial brands, promoting regional brands and industries to go global as a group, effectively driving the high-quality development of China’s foreign trade, and helping more high-quality enterprises integrate into the global supply chain system.
During the expo, the organizing committee will also join hands with Indonesian business associations, industry experts, and representatives of leading enterprises to hold a number of industry forums and “Big Buyer Procurement Matching Meetings”. Focusing on core topics such as industrial technological breakthroughs, market development trends and policy directions, industrial innovation opportunities, and suggestions from investors and practitioners, in-depth discussions will be conducted. In particular, local Indonesian big buyers will be invited to hold face-to-face negotiations with representative enterprises of the exhibition to further promote the on-site achievement of business cooperation intentions between the two parties.
With the continuous deepening of the China-Indonesia comprehensive strategic partnership, the continuous release of RCEP dividends, and the high-quality development of the “Belt and Road” construction, the CHINA (INDONESIA) EXPORT BRAND JOINT EXPO is increasingly becoming an important bridge connecting the industries of the two countries and promoting mutual development. This exhibition not only fully demonstrates the innovative strength and brand resilience of Made in China but also empowers through digital technologies such as “AI Smart Expo”, promoting the transformation of traditional foreign trade towards intelligence, precision, and efficiency.
